Reema Lagoo: Bollywood’s ‘favorite mother’ dies at 59
Reema Lagoo, veteran Actress of film and TV, known for playing mothers to superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, has died at 59 of a heart failure.
Veteran film and TV performing artist Reema Lagoo has passed on of a heart failure, ANI has confirmed.
IANS, citing a family source, reports that Reema Lagoo passed on early Thursday. She was 59.

She had been admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai soon after 12 pm. She had complained of chest pain.
“We will issue a health report later in the day, after consulting with her family,” the doctor’s facility’s official chief Ram Naraian told PTI.
Additionally addressing PTI, Lagoo’s son in-law Vinay Waikul said, “She was complaining of chest pain so we took her to hospital around 1 AM. She passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 AM. She was perfectly fine and had no health issues…so it is really shocking for all of us that she is no more with us.”
She was famous for playing mothers in both films and TV. Her most well known films were Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Maine Pyar Kiya and Kal Ho Naa Ho. She likewise bacome famous in TV indicates like Tu Main and Shrimaan Shrimati. She was most recently seen in Naamkaran.
